 1. Which carrier do you use?

We use Hongkong Post. For more information, please visit their website: https://www.hongkongpost.hk/en/home/index.html. Please note that given the COVID-19 situation the delivery could be delayed for months and shipping services to certain areas might be restricted. You may refer to https://www.hongkongpost.hk/en/about_us/whats_new/notices/index_id_1185.html for latest updates of the service availability for overseas destinations. Your understanding is very much appreciated.  
You can choose to have the books delivered via surface or air mail. Postage is automatically calculated upon check-out according to the total weight and delivery zone of the order.  

2. How do I make a purchase? 

All purchases will be calculated in USD. We accept payment by credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AE, or Union Pay), Apple Pay, Google Pay etc. If you wish to pay by cheque or bank transfer, please contact us in advance. 

3. How long does it take for my order to arrive?

The time of delivery varies from destination to destination. It also depends on whether you are choosing air mail or surface mail. Generally, parcels take about 7-18 days (air) / 2-3 weeks (surface) to arrive mainland China, 10-17 days (air) / 9-12 weeks (surface) to arrive the United Kingdom, and 7-17 days (air) / 9-15 weeks (surface) to arrive the United States. A tracking number will be provided for all orders, so that you can follow the updates of the shipment. 4. What’s your refund policy? 

All orders, once shipped, are sold on a firm sale basis and are not refundable. Only damaged or defective books can be returned for replacement. 
If there is no recipient when the package is delivered and the package is returned to RCT, there will be no refund. Extra postage will be charged upon request for re-sending the package. If the package has not been returned to RCT, extra postage plus the value of goods will be charged upon request for re-sending the package. 

5. Do you ship to mainland China? What if the books don’t pass the customs clearance? 

Yes, Hongkong Post does provide shipping services to mainland China. If in the worst case the books don’t pass the customs clearance, we are willing to bear the cost with you—you can simply pay the postage again, and we will put in the mail the same titles you purchased. 

6. Do you provide special discounts? 

Your order may be eligible for a discount if it is over US$200 or for educational use. Please contact us for details before you place the order. You may also subscribe to our mailing list or follow us on social media to receive news when there are promotional offers. 

7. What if the title I wish to purchase is out of print? 

We have uploaded the out-of-print journals on our website; links are provided in each title’s details page. 

8. Is it compulsory to sign up? 

No, guest check-out is also available.
